Details: A Journey of Gratitude is Tri Robinson's memoir of navigating through what he refers to as the "four seasons of his adult life." As a young man, in his "spring season," he explored the wilderness of Idaho in a vintage WWII reconnaissance plane, climbed mountains, and survived adventures of many kinds. At the end of that season, he met the love of his life. In the "summer season" of young adulthood, he married and continued sharing an extraordinary life with his wife Nancy, moving onto a familyhomestead in the mountains of California. They lived off the land without electricity, withonly wood for heat and gravity-fed spring water. Here, they raised their two children, Kate and Brook. As a young family, they became engaged in the Jesus Movement and, after twelve years of teaching in a unique secondary educational program, entered a life of full-time ministry. In the third or "fall season" of life, Tri and his family relocated backto Idaho, where they developed a large, energetic Christian fellowship called theVineyard, where they served as founding pastors for the next 25 years. In their "winter season," they retired from formal ministry. They returned to the isolation of the mountains where, along with the help of their adult children and grandchildren, they established a new sustainable homestead.
