Rosalyn Casas makes her author debut with her book Rejuvenation: Strategies and Coping Mechanisms to Find Healing, Renewal for the Human Spirit and Serenity for Your Life During her 23 years of sobriety, she earned a Master of Science in Human Services with a specialization in crisis and disaster intervention. She is currently certified as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist. She actively participates in various community organizations and volunteer programs.
Rosalyn had a guest appearance on Dr. Chinyere Jiga Mayo Ministries' Chosen Vessels series. Also, she has been a guest on “The Encounter,” a show by the Open-Door Communication Network, where she shared her addiction journey. As a presenter at UEI Vocational Trade School, she shared insights on overcoming obstacles. She acted as a guest judge for the Miss El Cajon Beauty Pageant. Her team won. Most importantly, she supported students as a Rolling Reader for 2nd and 3rd graders. Additionally, she held roles in Toastmasters International as public relations and president.
Driven by a passion to give back and support others on their journey by sharing her own experiences, Rosalyn is a 2024 recipient of the Patricia Ann Strange Diamond award. Because she has remained authentic and her true self as “Ms. Rosalyn” she emphasizes the importance of focusing on the message, not the messenger, encouraging people to listen to the wisdom she shares.
Rosalyn has three children and lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband.
